The 2026 Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) Annual Meeting marked the eighth time Lasting Blueprint Productions filmed the organization’s annual gathering since 2018. Held October 13–15 at Henderson Beach Resort in Destin, Florida, the meeting brought together professionals involved in testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) HVAC systems and building commissioning.
The work has also included Save the Date and welcome videos for AABC. The October 14 General Business Session opened with a welcome video featuring footage from previous annual meetings, including the 2025 AABC Annual Meeting on Amelia Island.
AABC Annual Meeting Presentation Recordings
On October 14, a keynote address was followed by technical presentations covering TAB scope and scheduling, project management, project closeout, retro-commissioning, and fume hood certification. On October 15, presentations addressed employee retention and artificial intelligence, employer health benefits, and changes to industry standards and codes.
For this conference video production assignment, every presentation was recorded with two cameras. One provided wide coverage of the stage, while the other captured medium shots of the presenters. Audio was recorded from the venue’s soundboard using a Zoom F3 and Zoom H4n.
Between presentations, gimbal footage captured attendees visiting exhibitor booths and networking around the Crystal Ballroom. Additional footage documented the ballroom, presenters, and audience during the program.
Following the final technical presentation on October 15, AABC held its Technology Showcase. The association’s marketing director and executive director introduced participating exhibitors, who briefly discussed their products and services. Each exhibitor offered a giveaway, with a winner selected through a drawing. The showcase was recorded in full.
The final presentation deliverables will consist of individual full-length video files provided to AABC.
Welcome Reception and Mix & Mingle B-Roll
Filming began October 13 with the Welcome Reception on Henderson Beach Resort’s Grand Lawn. Attendees gathered beneath a lighted outdoor tent, with footage capturing the reception and groups posing near illuminated AABC letters.
On October 14, the Mix & Mingle took place at Beach West Deck near Henderson Park Inn. Coverage included attendees socializing and playing cornhole, while additional footage captured the beachfront setting and sunset.
Closing Celebration Coverage
The October 15 Closing Celebration began with an outdoor reception on the Sunset Terrace. Attendees then moved into the Crystal Ballroom for dinner and entertainment.
B-roll documented the indoor celebration, including a live band, dancing, and photo booth activities. A separate recording captured the closing remarks and a recognition presentation.
B-roll captured during the 2026 meeting is planned for a Save the Date video, another example of repurposing annual meeting footage. The video would promote the 2027 AABC Annual Meeting, scheduled for October 19–21 in Indian Wells, California.
