You do not need every detail finalized before contacting Lasting Blueprint Productions. The estimate process identifies what is confirmed and what still needs to be planned.

These answers explain what is needed before production begins and how a project is confirmed.
How do I start a video project?
Contact Lasting Blueprint Productions with the available project details. The company reviews the request, identifies any missing information, and prepares an estimate based on the proposed scope.
The project is confirmed after the estimate is approved, the required agreement is completed, and the applicable initial payment is received.
How far in advance should video production be booked?
Availability depends on the production date, location, schedule, crew requirements, and project scope.
Earlier contact provides more scheduling options, especially for multi-day projects or assignments requiring additional crew. A date is reserved after the estimate is approved, the required agreement is completed, and the applicable initial payment is received.
What information is needed for an estimate?
Provide the production date, location, expected schedule, requested coverage, crew needs, recording format, editing requirements, final deliverables, and delivery deadline when available.
Other relevant details may include the number of rooms, interview subjects, presentation schedules, camera positions, and audio sources. Lasting Blueprint Productions can identify unresolved items during the estimate process.
Can you provide vendor documents for corporate procurement?
Yes. Lasting Blueprint Productions can provide a W-9, certificate of insurance, business information, certification documentation, and reasonable vendor onboarding forms when required.
Any procurement requirements that could affect contracting or payment should be shared before the production date.
Can you film the project if our team handles the editing?
Yes. Production-only coverage is available when a client, agency, in-house team, or another production company will handle post-production.
Raw footage can be the contracted deliverable. Recording format, file organization, transfer method, and other technical requirements should be confirmed before production.
Do you provide scriptwriting?
Yes. Full scriptwriting can be included when required.
Lasting Blueprint Productions can also help organize client-provided scripts, interview questions, talking points, or working outlines. The estimate identifies the writing and approval responsibilities.
Can I review examples of previous work?
Yes. The video portfolio includes corporate events, conferences, training content, testimonials, interviews, and promotional projects.
Pricing, Payments, and Scheduling
The payment schedule depends on the assignment and is stated in the approved estimate and agreement.
Do you offer hourly, half-day, or full-day video production rates?
Yes. On-location production may be estimated using hourly, half-day, or full-day pricing.
The appropriate structure depends on the schedule, crew, equipment, simultaneous coverage, travel, and deliverables. Editing may be estimated separately or included within the complete project scope.
What payment schedule applies to my project?
Payment schedules vary by project type.
Some assignments require full payment at booking. Editing projects generally require a 50% initial payment, with the remaining balance due before final delivery. Event projects generally require a 50% initial payment, with the remaining balance due 14 days before the event.
Net 15 terms may be available to established clients with a consistent payment history. Services and dates are not guaranteed until all required payments are received.
Is the initial payment refundable?
Initial payments used to reserve production dates are nonrefundable. Cancellation and rescheduling terms are stated in the project agreement.
When can additional project costs apply?
The estimate lists the services, crew, production time, editing, deliverables, and known expenses included in the project.
Additional costs may apply when the schedule, crew, locations, deliverables, or production requirements change. The revised scope is documented through an updated estimate or written change authorization and may affect availability or delivery timing.
How long is a production day?
A half day covers up to five hours. A full day covers up to ten hours.
Work beyond the contracted time is billed under the overtime terms stated in the agreement. Public rates are not listed because project requirements vary.
Do you travel outside Orlando?
Yes. Lasting Blueprint Productions works throughout Florida and can travel outside the state.
Past out-of-state assignments have included Nevada, Texas, Arizona, California, North Carolina, and Illinois. Travel time, airfare, mileage, lodging, parking, tolls, per diem, and travel days may apply.
How are parking and venue expenses handled?
Known parking and venue access expenses are included in the estimate when available.
Unanticipated parking, access, shipping, or location expenses may be billed afterward when they could not be confirmed before production.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payment options include credit card, debit card, ACH, check, and other approved electronic methods shown on the invoice.
Production and Crew
Crew size and technical choices are based on the schedule, recording conditions, and simultaneous priorities.
How many crew members will be on site?
One videographer can operate multiple cameras when the coverage can be managed from one position and important priorities do not overlap. A second camera does not automatically require a second operator.
Additional camera operators, audio technicians, photographers, production assistants, or other crew may be included when rooms, interviews, presentations, or other priorities happen at the same time. The proposed crew is stated in the estimate.
What video resolution do you record?
Most projects can be recorded in 4K. Long-form presentation or conference recording may be captured in 1080p when that format better fits the schedule, recording duration, storage requirements, and final use.
4K presentation recording can be requested, but the final recording format still depends on the complete technical scope.
Can you record presentations and event audio?
Yes. Presentation coverage can include camera recording and a direct feed from the venue or sound system when access is available.
Interviews and testimonials normally use dedicated microphones. When a soundboard feed is unavailable, the audio plan is based on the room, recording conditions, available microphone placement, and venue restrictions.
Can presentation slides be included in the final video?
Yes. Client-provided presentation slides can be incorporated during editing when that work is included in the project scope.
The final treatment may use full-screen slides, camera footage, or a combination of both. Approved presentation files should be provided in the requested format before editing begins.
Can you record multiple rooms at the same time?
Yes. Simultaneous rooms normally require separate camera operators and audio setups.
The room schedules, recording duration, presentation format, and deliverables must be reviewed before the crew is determined.
Do you provide photography?
Yes. Photography can be included with video production or booked as a separate Lasting Blueprint Productions service.
A separate photographer may be recommended when important photographs and video coverage must happen simultaneously.
Do you carry production insurance?
Yes. Lasting Blueprint Productions maintains liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance when required by a venue or client.
Is Lasting Blueprint Productions licensed and certified?
Yes. Lasting Blueprint Productions, LLC is licensed to operate in Orange County, Florida.
The company also maintains an active State of Florida Minority Business certification and an active Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification through Florida’s Unified Certification Program.
Editing, Revisions, and Delivery
Post-production terms depend on the deliverables listed in the approved estimate.
Do you provide video editing?
Yes. Editing may include footage organization, sequence editing, color correction, audio adjustment, titles, royalty-free production music, captions, and final exports when those items are included in the scope.

How many revision rounds are included?
Edited videos include two revision rounds unless the agreement states otherwise.
Each round consists of one consolidated list of changes. Additional or fragmented requests may count as another round. New deliverables, new direction, or substantial restructuring require separate pricing.
How long does editing take?
Standard post-production is completed within 30 calendar days of the final production date, provided all required materials, instructions, and feedback are received on time.
Footage volume, deliverable count, project complexity, client delays, and requested turnaround can affect the schedule. Rush delivery is available when scheduling permits and may require an additional fee.
How are draft videos reviewed?
Draft videos are normally reviewed through Vimeo.
Feedback should be consolidated into one response from the authorized client contact. This reduces conflicting instructions and keeps revisions within the agreed schedule.
When are final files delivered?
Approved final files are normally delivered through Dropbox after all required payments are received.
Clients are given at least 30 days to download their files and are responsible for maintaining their own copies. Files often remain online longer, but continued hosting is not guaranteed.
What format will I receive?
Final files are delivered in the formats listed in the agreement.
The standard format is 1080p MP4 unless another resolution, frame rate, orientation, codec, or platform specification is confirmed in writing.
Is music included?
Edited videos may include royalty-free production music.
If the client requests commercial music or another track requiring separate rights, the client is responsible for securing the required permission or license.
Are graphics included?
Clients should provide approved logos, graphics, brand files, and other visual assets.
Basic text, names, titles, and simple graphic placement may be included. VFX, CGI, custom animation, and other advanced graphics require separate pricing.
Are captions included?
Captions are available when included in the project scope. They are not automatically included with every edited video.
Is raw footage included?
Raw footage can be the primary deliverable for a production-only project when it is listed in the estimate.
For projects that include editing, raw footage and editing project files are separate deliverables unless the agreement states otherwise. Requests made after delivery are subject to file availability, transfer requirements, storage media, shipping, and applicable fees.
How long are production files retained?
Production files are generally retained for up to two years, but long-term storage is not guaranteed.
Clients should request raw footage before the retention period ends and maintain their own copies of all delivered files.
Can changes be requested after final delivery?
Yes. Future updates can be estimated when the project files and required assets remain available.
The cost depends on the requested changes, project age, archived materials, software compatibility, and export requirements.
