Conference Filming at Caribe Royale Orlando
Since 2017, we have filmed the CxEnergy Conference & Expo for AABC, ACG, and EMA. The 2022 event, held April 19–22 at Caribe Royale Orlando, brought together professionals in commissioning, energy management, and building diagnostics. We covered the full event—technical sessions, seminars, workshops, and the expo hall.
Technical Session Video Coverage
Conference Video Production at Caribe Royale Orlando for CxEnergy
CxEnergy returned to Orlando after a three-year break. The Caribe Royale Convention Center hosted 32 technical sessions across the Curacao and Grand Sierra breakout rooms. Topics included lighting controls, building envelope testing, and federal commissioning programs. Speakers included Wade Conlan, Chris Castro, Gaylon Richardson, and others. In the expo hall, 50 exhibitors presented software platforms, controls, and instrumentation used in testing, adjusting, and balancing.
How We Captured the Conference
Our goal was to document the full scope of the conference. All sessions were recorded and edited with synced PowerPoint slides and clear audio to create a usable archive. During the event, our conference videographer also captured testimonials from speakers, organizers, and attendees throughout the venue.
CxA Workshop Instructional Video
As part of our coverage, we also filmed the in-person CxA Workshop, which introduced attendees to the full commissioning process from design through post-acceptance. Filming the CxA Workshop fits into the kind of instructional video production we often do for in-person trainings. The edited session was used as a reference for those unable to attend.

This gave ACG and its partners a complete video library for education, outreach, and future conference promotion.
