Lasting Blueprint Productions produced three videos for Common Bond Collaborative in Ybor City.
The project documented the organization through interviews, workplace activity, and footage of the surrounding neighborhood.
Project Overview
Lasting Blueprint Productions first worked with the people behind Common Bond Collaborative through Florida Cannabis Coalition conferences.
Common Bond CEO Thomas Quigley founded the coalition. COO Pete Sessa joined the organization in 2014.
Lasting Blueprint Productions filmed the coalition’s conferences before producing the Common Bond videos.
That earlier work included CannaBiz Day Orlando 2014 at Caribe Royale.
Common Bond supported startup businesses through shared business services, mentorship, funding options, and a collaborative workspace.
The videos featured interviews with Quigley and Sessa about the organization and its business support model.
Filming and Interview Production
Filming took place on October 30 and December 4, 2014.
The October production included the primary interviews and most workplace coverage.
The interviews used a two-camera setup operated by one videographer.
A lavalier microphone captured interview audio. Added lighting was used for the setup.
The December filming included another interview setup and additional exterior footage around Ybor City.
Workplace and Ybor City Coverage
Interior footage included offices, workstations, meeting areas, branding, artwork, lounge spaces, and recreational areas.
People were filmed working at computers and interacting throughout the facility.
A camera slider was used for selected B-roll shots inside the building.
Additional coverage included displayed products, furnishings, chess, foosball, and shuffleboard.
Exterior footage documented Ybor City streets, architecture, pedestrians, traffic, signage, and the surrounding neighborhood.
Editing and Final Videos
Lasting Blueprint Productions edited three finished videos from the production.
The surviving final exports show three edit lengths: approximately 60 seconds, 90 seconds, and three minutes.
The 60-second version focused on startup support, professional services, mentorship, funding, and office space.
The 90-second version also discussed the collaborative workplace and companies working alongside one another.
The three-minute version featured both interview subjects and additional discussion of Common Bond’s Tampa workspace and membership options.
Multiple final exports were created for web, television, Apple, and Android playback.
The project is one example of Lasting Blueprint Productions’ corporate video production work for organizations.
