Since 2017, Lasting Blueprint Productions has provided conference video production for AABC Commissioning Group’s annual CxEnergy Conference & Expo. The 2025 event ran April 28 to May 1 at the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina, marking its return to the East Coast after the previous year’s conference in San Diego.
Session Coverage at CxEnergy 2025
Over two days, our camera operators shot every session in four presentation rooms, filming speakers and panels on AI in commissioning, energy management, decarbonization, and data center case studies. Conferences like CxEnergy typically require multi-room video coverage, session recording, and highlight content that can be used for post-event marketing. Projects like this follow a structured workflow similar to how we approach filming a conference for documentation and post-event viewing. Each session was delivered as a full edit with synced PowerPoint slides and clear audio, creating an archive for the organizers, attendees who want to watch sessions again, and anyone who couldn’t attend in person.
Keynote: The Fortitude of a Champion
Bobby and Kristin Labonte kicked off the conference with a keynote on resilience and teamwork, sharing lessons from their NASCAR and pro cycling.
Conference Highlight Video, Testimonials, and B-Roll Footage
We filmed testimonials during the Grand Reception outside the Expo Hall, talking with attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and a scholarship student. The testimonials and b-roll captured by our conference videographer were combined into a highlight video for the annual conference.
