Digital Dealer hired Lasting Blueprint Productions for three days of video production at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
The April 10–12, 2018 assignment included expo-floor coverage, presentation B-roll, attendee and exhibitor interviews, and footage for three edited videos.
Filming Across the Digital Dealer Conference & Expo
Coverage followed activity throughout the conference and expo over all three days.
Footage documented attendees moving through the exhibit hall, conversations at booths, exhibitors interacting with visitors, and activity inside presentation areas.
The presentation footage was recorded as B-roll rather than complete presentation recordings.
More time was spent inside the Disney keynote. Coverage included additional shots of the presenter and activity in the room while the keynote was underway.
Finding Attendees and Exhibitors for Testimonials
Testimonials were another part of the three-day assignment.
A production assistant helped approach attendees and exhibitors, recruit people willing to participate, and ask the interview questions. Lasting Blueprint Productions handled the video production for each interview.
Attendees discussed why they came to Digital Dealer, what they learned, networking, and new automotive technology.
Exhibitors discussed meeting customers and prospects, their experience at the expo, and developments they were seeing across the industry.
Turning the Event Coverage Into Three Videos
The Digital Dealer footage was edited into three separate pieces:
- One attendee-focused video
- One exhibitor-focused video
- One longer event highlight video

The overall event highlight brought together footage from the expo floor, presentation areas, and other activity recorded during the three-day assignment.
