Six testimonial videos were recorded with dentists during an Aligned Dental Partners event at The Inn at Celebration in Kissimmee. Each participant was filmed individually using the same interview setup. The final delivery included six separate videos.
Filming setup
Two cameras were used throughout filming. One camera remained on the primary angle, while the second was used for a tighter shot and a vertical angle from a different position.
A green screen was placed behind each subject so branded backgrounds could be added during editing.
Audio was captured using lavalier and boom microphones routed into external recorders.
Interview process
- The client asked the questions during filming.
- Participants responded freely without using a script or teleprompter.
- Most interviews ran between two and a half to three and a half minutes. One extended to around fifteen minutes.
Editing and delivery
Each interview was edited as its own video rather than being combined, as shown in this dental testimonial video example.
The green screen was replaced with branded backgrounds, and visual elements were added to match the client’s materials.
The interviewer’s audio was removed, with questions displayed as on-screen text. Clips were trimmed for clarity and pacing, with color, audio, and music applied consistently.
In addition to the final videos, vertical versions of the interviews were also provided with minimal editing.
Planning testimonial videos
The structure used in this project—consistent setup, controlled audio, and direct interview responses—allows each testimonial to be edited and used independently.
When multiple interviews are recorded and delivered separately, this approach keeps the final videos consistent while allowing each response to stand on its own, which is how testimonial video production is handled.
