Filming at Orange County Convention Center in Orlando

The bustling trade show floor at the orange county convention center features various booths, including a carousel-themed section on the left, with attendees eagerly interacting with exhibitors and products at vmx.

If you’re attending an event at the Orange County Convention Center—whether you’re hosting, exhibiting, speaking, or helping a client with video coverage—you may need a local videographer to shoot.

As an Orlando video production company, we’ve worked on many projects at the OCCC—both for local and out-of-state companies. We’ve provided edited deliverables and raw footage depending on what each client needed. For a full list of what we provide, visit our video production services page.

Here are a few examples of event videography we’ve done at the OCCC and how it was used.

What We Typically Film at the Orange County Convention Center

We’ve filmed everything from multi-day conferences to single-booth coverage—capturing exhibitor interactions, customer testimonials, and product demos. Some clients need full-day support, while others just want a few focused hours of footage. Here’s the kind of work we’re typically hired to do:

  • Exhibitor booth coverage, sponsor demos, and attendee interactions
  • Speaking sessions and panel discussions
  • Attendee interviews and testimonials
  • Student competitions and award ceremonies
  • General b-roll for marketing and social media

We’re also hired by marketing agencies and production companies to capture raw footage locally for clients participating in events at the OCCC.

Below are a few examples of the kinds of events we’ve filmed at the Orange County Convention Center—and how that footage was used.

Digital Dealer Conference

One of the recurring conferences we’ve filmed at the Orange County Convention Center is Digital Dealer. For this project, we captured a mix of presentation footage and expo floor activity—including wide shots of sessions, general b-roll, and a few quick testimonials. The video was later used to promote their next event. We moved between general sessions and smaller breakout rooms to stay flexible with what the schedule required.

VMX Conference

At VMX, we filmed b-roll for a pet health company introducing new testing products. Most of the filming centered on booth interactions and product display footage, which we detailed in our blog recap of the VMX project.

HIMSS Global Health Conference

We provided videography for a healthcare company exhibiting at HIMSS. The full-day shoot included booth activity, attendee interactions, a panel session, and a sit-down interview. They later used the footage to create a recap video for social media, highlighting their presence at the healthcare technology conference and trade show. See more about that HIMSS shoot here.

DISTRIBUTECH International

During DISTRIBUTECH, we filmed testimonial interviews and booth coverage for a company presenting new energy tech solutions. We worked from a tight shot list provided by their marketing team and delivered footage that was later used in edited social content. Here’s the full recap of our DISTRIBUTECH videography.

The Grainger Show

At the Grainger Show, we were hired to film booth b-roll for a safety technology company showcasing a new platform. The footage highlighted their presence at the expo—capturing branded displays, product demos, and natural booth activity. They used the footage in social media marketing following the show.

Other Projects at the Orange County Convention Center

In addition to the examples above, we’ve filmed other events at the OCCC, including:

  • Multi-day filming of a student competition held during a major builders’ conference, including team presentations, b-roll of group activity, and short interviews. The footage was used for recap and recruitment purposes.
  • Testimonial interviews and booth b-roll at a manufacturing technology conference, including coverage of their awards ceremony.
  • On-site filming for agencies and production companies needing local support with interviews, booth footage, or general coverage.
